There are many other facets of this committee that we will be addressing come January, including state collective bargaining contracts.”

The PERS committee jurisdiction includes primary oversight of classified school employees, judge’s retirement law, public employee collective bargaining, and public retirement administration and investment strategy. Rodriguez will also continue serving as Chair of the Joint Legislative Committee on emergency management.
