I am excited to announce my first of many East Los Angeles community conversations where I will be joined by a panel of experts from the Department of Toxic Substance Control, the Los Angeles County Public Health Department and South Coast Air Quality Management District for a community conversation on the latest updates regarding the Exide cleanup and ongoing ground testing efforts. Your voice is crucial to this critical conversation. The fight for environmental justice in East Los Angeles continues.

I’m proud to share that nine of our bills have passed out of the Assembly and are now headed to the Senate! These bills reflect our shared priorities: climate action, food access, housing and economic recovery.
