In celebration of Veterans Day, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all who have served our country with courage and dedication. With nearly 2 million veterans living in our state, California is home to the largest veteran population in America.

As Californians celebrate friends and family today, who have served in the various branches of our military, I would like to dedicate this holiday to highlighting some of the recent legislative accomplishments for veterans, as follows:

Dear Neighbor,

Please join me for a tree adoption event, aimed at making our community greener and addressing climate change, this Saturday. Since taking office, I have collaborated with organizations to provide trees to our community that ultimately, increase our tree canopy and improve our air quality.

Dear Neighbor,

Our state is home to 4.2 million small businesses, which employ more than 7 million people, and account for over 99% of total businesses in the state. Los Angeles County has more than 1.3 million small businesses, with more minority- and women-owned businesses than any other county in the nation.

Post COVID-19, we want to recognize the importance of our locally owned small businesses and their contributions to our community. To do so, we need your help!

If you own a small business or want to nominate a small business, fill out the form below:

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

I hope this message finds you and your family in good health and high spirits. As the academic year progresses, it is important that we stay informed about the current conditions for schools in California. With that in mind, I want to bring your attention to an essential event that aims to promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle for our children: Red Ribbon Week.
