AD52 District Digest: 4 more of our bills are on Governor Newsom’s desk!

Dear Neighbor,

Happy Filipino American History Month!

Session has officially adjourned for the year, and now I'm back in the district, on the ground with constituents. #TeamCaloza is working in full force, meeting with community leaders, attending local events, and listening to the voices that matter most: yours. In this month’s newsletter, you can look forward to:

LA is for All & Upcoming Know Your Rights Workshops

Dear Neighbor,

It’s been a difficult few weeks for many of our neighbors, small businesses, and nonprofits given the protests across Los Angeles. With the increase of ICE activity in our neighborhoods, we want to make sure our community has the information, resources, and support it needs. We remain committed to protecting the rights and safety of all residents, including our immigrant families, who deserve to feel safe in the place they call home.

June Events and Invites from Assemblymember Jessica Caloza

Dear Neighbors,

As we step into June, I would like to share some exciting updates and invite you to a few important community events taking place across Assembly District 52. Whether it’s fighting for environmental justice, expanding CalFresh food access or bringing resources directly to your neighborhood, our office is committed to showing up and delivering for our communities.

AD52 in Action: AAPI Heritage Month & Echo Park Mobile Office Hours

Dear Neighbors,

As we welcome spring, I’m proud to share some exciting updates from the State Capitol and across Assembly District 52. From introducing transformative legislation to help with disaster recovery to fighting for the Film & TV Tax Credits and celebrating Earth Day together, these past few months have been productive and Team Caloza is hitting the ground running. This May, we are also celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month and want to uplift the rich contributions of AAPI communities to our state’s history, culture, and future.
