(Sacramento, CA) – In a special committee hearing on the needs of Unseen Latinas Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo (AD-51) shared the following:

“Our utmost responsibility is ensuring that we address the barriers that prevent Californians, especially Californians who are vulnerable because of their access to the internet, their ability to read and write the English language, their immigration status or the immigration status of their loved ones.
