Hurricane Hilary - How to Prepare

Dear Neighbor,

The National Weather Service is warning that Hurricane Hilary, a storm brewing off Mexico’s Pacific coast, could potentially bring significant rain, rough surf, and dangerous winds to L.A. County beginning late Sunday through Monday. Some areas could see up to five inches of rain. During storms, there is increased potential for flash floods, falling rocks and mud and debris flows.

Please take precaution and stay updated by signing up for emergency alerts, which sends shelter-in-place instructions, evacuation, and other emergency messages through a free mass notification system for Los Angeles County residents and businesses.
