You're Invited! Open Space and the Future of Taylor Yard

Taylor Yard

Dear Neighbor,

On Saturday, August 5, the 100 Acre Partnership will be hosting Community Design Workshop #3, in which constituents from across our district will have a chance to lend a voice in the proposed final conceptual design for the Paseo del Río at Taylor Yard, next door to the Rio de Los Ángeles State Park. This is an important, environmentally focused concept in the community of Glassell Park that will turn an old rail yard into open space that ultimately benefits the entire City of Los Ángeles.

This year, our office secured $1.5 Million to support the Taylor Yard Equity Strategy (TYES), a community driven effort to protect the stability of neighborhoods, as the State continues important investments to transform the contaminated former railyard at Taylor Yard into healthy resilient green spaces. Your voice and input are needed.

Saturday, August 5
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Río de Los Angeles State Park
1900 N. San Fernando Road
