Assemblywoman Wendy Carrillo's Statement on Monterey Park Shooting Tragedy

SACRAMENTO - Assemblywoman Wendy Carrillo issued the following statement in response to the tragic Monterey Park shooting that occurred on January 22, 2023:

"On a weekend in which our communities should be able to happily celebrate Lunar New Year, we see another chapter added to America's mass shooting epidemic. The disregard for human lives that drives these acts cannot continue. My deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of those killed and wounded. My office stands ready to help and support our neighbors in Monterey Park."
