(Sacramento) - For more than 30 years, members of the California Legislature have held a special ceremony for the women who are making a difference in the Golden State. This year, Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo (D-Los Angeles) is honoring Leticia Guevara, who has broken barriers as a teenage mother, translator and political activist.
